Lesley Gore was discovered by Quincy Jones and recorded four of Madara and White's songs listed above. The most popular of these is
"You Don't Own Me," which has become somewhat of an anthem for the women's rights movement. It has also been prominently featured
in the hit movies "The First Wive's Club" and "Dirty Dancing." Lesley continues to perform extensively and is still recording new
material.
